Ranbaxy Antacid

Gestid Tablet

Gestid Tablet is an antacid and anti-flatulent medicine used to provide fast relief from symptoms caused by excess stomach acid and trapped gas. Gestid Tablet is effective in relieving heartburn, acid indigestion, bloating, and flatulence. Its tablet form makes it easier to transport and store than the suspension, offering added convenience for everyday use and also for people who prefer tablets over liquid antacids

Mechanism of Action

Gestid Tablet contains multiple active ingredients that work together to relieve heartburn, acid reflux, indigestion, bloating, and excess gas.

Gestid Tablet contains the following active ingredients:

      • Dried Aluminium Hydroxide (300 mg) – An antacid that neutralizes excess stomach acid, helping to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, and stomach discomfort.

      • Magnesium Trisilicate (50 mg) – An antacid that forms a protective coating over the stomach lining while helping to neutralize stomach acid.

      • Magnesium Hydroxide (25 mg) – An antacid that further reduces stomach acidity and helps counteract the constipating effect of aluminium hydroxide.

      • Activated Polymethylsiloxane (10 mg) – An anti-foaming agent that helps break up gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, relieving bloating, flatulence, and abdominal discomfort.
